Positives :
* Pawan Kalyan
* Pawan Kalyan – Kajal Chemistry
* Cinematography
* First – Half
* Devi Sri Music
* Comedy
Negatives
* Second – Half
* Routine Story
* Screenplay
Cast Performance :
There is no need to explain about the performance of Pawan Kalyan. He carried the film entirely on his shoulders, as he personally supervised all the commercial elements of the film. Just like Ugadi chutney which is a blend of 6 different tastes, Pawan mesmerized the audience with his unique style with his action, comedy, dance, dialogues, fights and romance.
Pawan’s romantic scenes with Kajal brings the sweet taste for the audience. The chemistry between the lead pair worked out very well. Ruthlessly, he shows bitterness to Bhairav Singh and his gang.
The comedy scenes between Pawan Kalyan and Bramhanandam makes the audience spicy. Sharad Kelkar also performed well as the baddie in the film.
Brahmanandam as Tootala Shekhar, Posani and Urvasi were well set up in their characters. Mukesh Rishi as Hari Narayan played an important role in the film. Jabardast gang along with Ali became successful in tickling the funny bones of the audience with their comedy timing. Sanjana as Sharad Kelkar’s wife performed well. Rai Lakshmi gave a glamour touch in the special song of the film.
Technical Aspects :
Cinematography by Arthur Wilson is superb. He showcased Ratanpur Royalty and village atmosphere in an excellent manner. Devi Sri’s music is an asset for the film. The dialogues written by Sai Madhav Burra have a lot of depth in the film. Art work by Brahma Kadali is fine. Editing by Gautam Raju could have been better in the second half.
Pawan has worked tirelessly for the story and screenplay of the film for the past two years. Bobby became successful as the director, as he reached the expectations of Pawan Kalyan in narrating his story on the screen. We have already seen such mining stories in the past as well. However, Pawan added his style and comedy aspects to the already familiar story. The story could have been much better, if some more changes would have been made.
Telugumirchi Analysis :
Overall, the film is a Ugadi feast for the audience, especially for Pawan Kalyan fans. The romance between Pawan and Kajal gives sweet taste, comedy is like salt and pepper, Pawan shows his bitterness to his opposition and action sequences between the Antagonist and Protagonist makes the audience feel Pungent and Astringent.
Overall, the film is a blend of Six Tastes of Ugadi Chutney – Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Pungent and Astringent.
